We all do it in some form or another. Watch a movie or show and imagine being there; the same while reading a book. Talking with people about their lives and pursuit of their dreams. We all like to live vicariously through whatever means we can. A way to escape our own reality. Even if its just for a little while. With the power of the spoken and written word, we have been living vicariously through them for centuries. In this podcast, you’ll hear stories about every sort of topic. To provide some of our entertainment, a local up and coming writer Remington James, will provide short stories and anecdotes for your amusement. We also provide a platform that allows trauma survivors to speak out, raise awareness, and advocate for those in similar situations. We want you to know that you are not alone and that help is out there. Our hope is by sharing these stories and experiences it not only helps you the listener but the trauma survivor themselves in a cathartic way. If you appreciate what we do and would like to support the studio, please consider purchasing a Tshirt or Sweater, book one of our other services, or simply donate to the studio. Donations are not necessary but are greatly appreciated as it will provide the means to be able to continue to provide our listeners with the content they enjoy more frequently. Thank you all for your continued support. Sincerely, T. Douglas - Proprietor of Red Script Studios

Firstly, Dan apologies for the vulgarness of his birds. They're very opinionated and try to cut into the conversation. They have been chirped out as best as possible.
Now, let me introduce Dan Gindlesperger, author of the Demon Secret. Dan is a huge horror fan following in the footsteps of Clive Baker. To which Dan thinks is the best horror writer out there. Better than Stephen King in his opinion.
"Clive Baker makes horror what it should be, disturbing." - Dan G
When getting to know each other we found out that Dan and I are huge fans of Craig Alanson and RC Bray. Unbeknownst to us at the time, we are apart of the same Facebook fan groups for Craig Alanson and his Exforce Series.
"When you have Craig Alanson working with RC Bray, it's magical!" - Dan G
"RC Bray is one of my inspirations for narrating audiobooks." - Tim D
Dan also believes that anyone and everyone should be able to read his work. Dan also provides his work at low cost so that people can enjoy his work. Just because I had connected and loved the Demon Secret, Dan sent me a copy of the book so I could keep reading it. That just goes to show how much Dan cares about other people and his work at the same time.
"I think my teenage daughters should be able to read what I write." - Dan G
Dan also went through a toxic and traumatic childhood. It wasn't until Dan was sent to a therapist for an unrelated reason that things started to change for him. Originally sent to talk about pain management, ended up being the start of breaking the trauma that bound to him. Growing up in the era of men don't talk about problems or show emotion also played a huge factor in his recovery. Until Dan went through a session himself, he couldn't understand why grown men were coming out blubbering. A week later, he was that man.
"I cried because I was understanding the pain I went through that I kept in my subconscious; that I always hid away." - Dan G
Dan is an amazing, humble, and now a well rounded individual. Dan is also too kind with his words of positive praise towards me and the work I do, and the Podcast itself.
"As I said when we first started this, what you're doing is important. There isn't enough of it!" - Dan G
For more information on Dan, find him on Facebook, Amazon, his website, and soon enough Audible for a wonderfully narrated version of the Demon Secret.

The Trauma that Binds Series: Dante's Requiem
Wednesday May 08, 2024
Wednesday May 08, 2024
Allow me the pleasure of introducing the one, the only, the man, the myth, the Hollywood legend and my personal friend Dante Rusciolelli! Dante has been a comedian for over 37 years and has worked with all the best such as Richard Pryor. He has appeared on over 40 TV shows including but not limited to: BET's ComicView, NBC's Last Comic Standing, and his own Sitcom. Dante was also a writer for Joan Rivers on the show Fashion Police. To view or book Dante for an event go to www.comicdante.com for more information.
Dante is also a talent manager who owns Golden Artists Entertainment in Los Angeles. Visit www.goldenartistsentertainment.com to see some of the biggest actors, comedians, and influencers that Dante represents.
Dante has also been struck by copious amounts of trauma and grief. Losing his entire family within the last 12 years, witnessing a stabbing in 11th grade, witnessing his friend being shot due to a gang initiation. That is but just some of the incredible yet tragic stories he has shared with me and all of us in this episode. Dante is working on publishing a memoir about his life, and hopes it will be ready soon. Follow Dante on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter for updates on upcoming comedy tours, webinars, productions and his memoir in progress.
"They only taught two words, but those two words were worth every dollar. So what, so what, so what. We are all going to be gone soon; enjoy it while you're here and be good to those that are with you, and if they go, they're going to know you loved them." - Dante
"And its like, no, you can't even use all those bananas!" - Dante
"You should appreciate you, everyone needs to realize their own value."- Dante
"Love, Health, Happiness, Safety, and Freedom I believe are the keys to life." - Dante
"It actually inspired me to kind of want to get together with other men and woman or whatever, in maybe some sort of support group. Just talk, because it did help, it helped talking to you." - Dante

Hello folks and welcome back for part 3 of the Trauma that Binds Series: Overcoming the Frontlines. A segment of Living Vicariously. Today we have Iraq War Veteran Tim Palmer. A survivor of war trauma, PTSD, and domestic violence. Sober and on a path of healing and self development, Tim hopes that by sharing his story, he is able to help others who may have experienced similar situations. Tim is now a self-help coach, YouTuber, and aspiring author. Blu Prnt is Tim's current work in progress set for release end of 2024. Yes it is misspelled on purpose, Tim explains why in the episode.
We had some scheduling mishaps on recording day, so Tim took time out of his event with a Lamborghini dealership to have this interview with me. He sat in a parking lot of a Starbucks. Comfortably though in a Lamborghini Urus. Truly dedicated to his cause of sharing his story. You can support Tim Palmer by checking out his YouTube channel, website, and stay tuned for when Blu Prnt releases. Tim is available to contact so please do not hesitate to reach out if you are struggling.

Hello folks and welcome back to another episode of the Trauma That Binds Series, a segment of Living Vicariously. Today we have the pleasure of speaking with Aleesha Anaya. She is the proprietor of Creative Mayhem in Stratford ON. She just so happens to be the person who makes our T-Shirts and Sweaters. She also is the mastermind behind Red Script Studios special edition logo.
Unfortunately, she is also a trauma survivor. Today she will be sharing her experiences with domestic violence while simultaneously grieving the loss of her mother.
"I heard through a friend about this podcast and loved the idea of turning my negative experiences into something positive; helping others know they are not alone."
"To others I want them to know that you are stronger than you think. You can get out and you deserve to get out. It's ok to feel hopeless and stuck. It doesn't matter if you've left and went back, you can still get out. Don't lose hope, reach out in any way you feel safe doing so."

Hello folks and welcome back to Living Vicariously. Today’s episode is the first part of the Trauma that Binds series. Here we give a voice to those wishing to speak out against all forms of trauma and advocate for those in similar situations. I will warn that this series will contain mature subject matter and maybe triggering for some individuals. Listener discretion is advised. Featured in this episode is trauma survivor and mental health activist: Emily Montgomery. In this episode, Emily shares some of the struggles she faced with addiction, domestic violence, and sadly human trafficking. “It would’ve turned into trafficking if my dealer wouldn’t have said no” -Emily. Also shared are some of the support systems and resources that helped her escape the situation she was in and lead to her path in recovery.
“To let people know that they are not alone. To show support for the survivors of these issues, and to stand up for the injustice the flawed system has.”
“To support not only the women and children going through this but also the men.”
– Emily Montgomery

Summary:
She is a stunning, confident and successful Internet executive who has just inherited a boatload of money. But beneath her charming persona she's a chain-smoking, self-diagnosed sociopath who lives in a bizarre moral framework of her own creation - a deadly serial killer who has a taste for executives and anyone else she thinks is "unjust". Beginning just after the death of her ex-lover, this unrepentant killer explains how she copes with her personality disorder, when and how she began killing, her relationships with those around her, and her views on the Internet, social work, art and politics. Both empathetic and abhorrent, this murderous memoir reveals the best and worst of what to her appears to be an increasingly thoughtless, shallow world. Between what she claims is her final murder and her actual final murder nearly two years later, she chronicles in detail her bloodlust, her short-lived psychotic breaks, her persistent desire to disappear and her enthusiasm for the hunt and murder of her ever-growing log of victims. She's a beautiful chameleon - and she believes she is going to get away with it all.
R.K. Finch is a local author who brought to my attention her book is being plagiarized. Please support R.K. Finch by purchasing the true and original work. Thank you in advance for your support!
Summary:
Father Luke, a trained exorcist, uncovers sacred knowledge hidden in time while removing demons from the innocent. These truths put his own life and the lives of those he cares about in grave danger from every direction. Based near Washington, DC, where greed and deception are around every corner, lie these dangerous secrets, ones that threaten the very fabric of our human world.
Summary:
Theirs was an unlikely life together. Sheila gave birth to Josephine on 11th May 1993 and for twenty-three years they co-existed in a loving mother-daughter relationship, but one with a difference. Josephine suffered catastrophic brain injury at birth, never spoke to Sheila, rarely smiled and was barely able to see the faces of the people who loved her. Without a how-to guide, people around Josephine strove to make her life better through years of multiple medical procedures, tortuous therapies and uncomfortable equipment. But this isn't a misery memoir; it's the story of a person who touched the lives of so many people - a bright and beautiful young lady who could 'work the room'. despite her enormous limitations. She brought out the best in people. Expect to cry, expect to laugh, but don't expect to be indifferent to this story.
